Can you fix an aquarium filter that stopped working?
I have a 10 gallon aquarium filter Whisper 10i-2. I took off because I was moving the tank. I plugged back in and suddenly stopped working (it is customary for the fire or make noise). I plugged something else in that same outlet and it worked so it is not output. I tried to change the cartridge and that the work is not either. Is it repairable? I do not want to go out and spend $ 24.99 on a new one. Thank you for your help.
May only need a good cleaning! If you have not cleaned or clean it immediately after it pulled out of the tank, can only be covered with dry material the inside of your tank! Remove the black bottom piece and check the engine to make sure it is not clogged. You may have to leave the filter to soak in a bucket of clean tap water soak dry loose stuff if obstructed. If you still have the receipt and is less than 2 years of age may be still covered by warranty.
