What is the best setting for the throttle mid-level in a 10 gallon aquarium?
I have a 10 gallon aquarium and can not find the answer to what settings should I have for the average intake in a filtration system Marineland Penguin 100. Should I put the valve in an open environment or what?
That will depend on the fish and decorations. If you have fish that prefer strong currents (Danios or rainbow), leaving it wide open best. However, if you have fish that prefer almost unchanged (Bettas, for example), leaving it partly open would be best. If all the decorations and fish fly around the tank when the valve is fully open, put it halfway.
