Aquarium Snake Plant
What should I use for reptile and lighting of the plant?

I just bought a Python Calabar, a rare burrowing snake, and I keep thinking in a time of 30 glass aquarium. I have an 75-watt bulb infared heat and a heating pad, is there any other kind of lighting I need to add living plants? Furthermore, any suggestion of the plant?

I do not think you should add live plants, could be dangerous, because I assume that your python is Africa? Python is my, and basically most of the plants we have at home will not be there, and therefore are alien to our pets, and can be dangerous with waterever natural chemicals as they have. Plants also tend to collect the insects, even very small ones that can easily be a danger to the snake if wer eto be a plant that would be something in the same area the snake, of course, arises, but still, great concept with the infestation can be very dangerous. and needs no further lighing equiptment and get a thermomedar, and find the right temperature for your snake, and make sure it stays around there mines 80 degrees F. Also make sure you have a water dish, but I'm sure you have, because snakes are soaked in water apsorb. but snakes good luck man, are so beautiful:) I love mine to pieces, I hope you get along with yours. mines a python
