Will my betta be okay?

Uh oh. So I was just doing my weekly water change and I added a little bit of aquarium salt to my tank which I do every now and then. So, I dissolved some salt in a gallon of water then I poured that water in. Thing is, there was a small piece of salt in the container still so when I was pouring, a piece of salt fell into my tank and my betta saw it, dashed towards it and ate it!!! Please please PLEASE tell me that this wont kill him or cause any problems. I love my betta and I don’t want anything to happen to him!
Did you not see what I said, I dissolved it before I poured it into my tank, I thought it was completely dissolved. I’m not an idiot.

He’ll be absolutely fine, but as a precaution, keep an eye on him. In the future, just be extra careful. I know you didn’t mean for it to happen, but just be careful. I hope he’ll be okay
