reef aquarium keeping question?
I'm new to keep a reef aquarium and am still (after the answers are unclear), insurance topping up my reef tank (which currently only bike for just over a week). I have a 45 gallon tank and I have been planned evaporated water each day. I know that fresh water is used up the tank, but I'm sure the methods and chemicals used for tap water the aquarium, I have a sump (if that helps answers.) any advice is appreciated! thanks heaps
I agree that the use of RO / DI water is best, but be careful where you get it from. a poorly maintained unit RO water makes as bad as tap water. I have a TDS meter (Total Solids Dissaolved) purchased in google, which was $ 10, there was one thing that is part of it and get $ 10 off your first purchase, I do not know if they still do that. i use water only places that get 0 and then I only use water that stays at 0. if, for example I have a lot that was like 5 or something, I just went to buy water elsewhere. How much do you intend to go in the tank anyway? you may only want to buy a home RO unit should only be like $ 100-150 and most can remove about 50 liters of water a day at that price.
