Pump Wave
Pump Wave

So why fish jump out of the tank?
I have a light and cover on my tank and I found my fish on the ground this morning. There are about one inch of space between the lid and a pump, so I guess it's like he did. I picked it up with a package tissue and did not move well I went to the bathroom and dropped my fish tissue at the top of the tissue in the bathroom of a visit to the sea. As I turned, the water began to soak into the fabric and as soon as the water reached my fish began to swim. Oh my God, I thought. But it was too late, at the time the waves began to spin and had gone. Even if I had gone with my own hands I would have had to rinse with tap water, which probably would have surprised him to death. Anyway, that's my story. But why the fish jump out of the tank?
I have read enough about this (I work at a pet store), but so far have not found an answer solid. The best solution would be to try and easy way to fill that gap does not happen again. From my personal experience, the fish seem to try to go when is temperature and pressure changes, so in winter and spring is common. Also remember that most likely do not understand that there is an "outside" to your tank, which is not water. I'm pretty sure I do not know they are jumping to their destination-which could only jump. fish also jump when they are interacting with other fish (trying to escape, or trying to chase) or simply to avoid a threat. I've also read that fish could avoid coming to eliminate parasites, but I'm not sure about that. I hope that helps a little! Try to block the opening, and whether the temperature has changed dramatically.
