Do you have a betta need an air pump in a 5 gallon tank and what it does?
I just bought an aquarium and went online to make room in which says it will help set up and says I need an air pump and I was wondering does a betta fish need an air pump and if so does the air pump to first?
Some filters use air pumps, but if you do not have this type of filter you do not. All air pumps do is help put oxygen in the water. Betta not really need that. Another commentator said, are not like most other fish and air to breathe.
