It is "a big deal" the pond safe for direct contact with water?

I plan to have a turtle in the pond and waterfall area … Tried aquarium but does not seal properly seal. I guess another question is whether it is safe? I do not care to replace the seal from time to time, provided closing the first time

Yes, Great Stuff is, well, great! Completely in ponds and aquatic life safer. Over time, however, it does kind of "break" a bit and become easily separable from the tile surface, stones or whatever you use it. If you want a very, very good, permanent, impermeable water – and safe! – Stamp on something in your pond, you might suggest using glue automotive weather stripping / sealer? I use the 3M brand (comes in a red box) and I understand from a local auto parts store at about $ 8 a tube. Works even better than that of the great things, I think. Hope this helps.
