Is it OK for my goldfish ate the snail?
Some time ago I bought two Shubunkin of a pond / aquarium store and found a shell had set for the ride. He lived in the tank for a few weeks, but a water change could not find that it was not uncommon, and he would stay behind the filter or high, but then I found the empty shell – simply to die or that my fish they eat?? Is this correct?
When snails die, because their bodies are composed mostly of water, dried up in almost anything inside their shells. Your goldfish have eaten snail shell However, as the snail more than likely just die on their own initiative and has left its deposit at the bottom of the tank. If it's a snail trap, like an apple snail, you more than likely find the trap plate somewhere nearby.
