Phosphate Remover
Phosphate Remover
What is the proper way to use phosphate / silicate remover?.?
I have a problem with brown algae growing in my tank and I was reading on the Web view it and says if I put in the silicate remover would help end the brown algae. So I put in about a quarter cup (it is said to use a cup for every 75 gallons) and is said to leave it in the filter for four days and then off. What if I just left the phosphate remover the filter. I have a Fluval 205 and 26 gallon tank. I'm using a product called her maid by Seachem PhosGuard is that a good product or products are best?.
how its just right to put in a place that will have a good flow through it, that is why they suggest a filter in the salt water reactors use it falling to improve contacts, to the extent that leaves you may work for more than four days, but if you go for a long time will be more saturated and liberation of phosphate and silicate back into the water causing algae blooms and other Seachem it works well i use phosguard
