Snowflake eel not escape the tank to eat, what I can do?
My snowflake eel, now 18 inches long and about a inch in diameter, escaped from his tank about a week and a half ago. We found him on the floor, he was still alive, so he returns to put in your tank. He freaked for a while, then calmed down. He stayed in the bottom of the tank during four days, then moved to its usual place, nestled inside the hollow part of an ornament of the aquarium. He has been sticking his head, but we can not get to eat their regular food. Its been a week and a half so we're pretty worried. Any suggestions?
That's not really too long for a brunette to go without food, are only built for him better than many other fish. I suggest trying to tempt hm with fresh shrimp, oysters, etc. .. can only remove it. MM
