Mesh Filter
Mesh Filter

Am I using the bio ceramic rings properly in the aquarium?
I have some rings in a biological filter and I have more of a tap air / oxygen. (Is this an appropriate application?) I can not put a lot since we have a small tank (4 gallons) and this makes the water more clear? This is in a freshwater tank. Last question: How clean what does not kill bacteria and not in a mesh bag. Does this only provide filtration is necessary to remove the tank? Will i kill the bacteria by touching them and rinse with water from the aquarium. If you need calrification ask. thanks
The ceramic rings have a lot of surface, which is good for the biological filter. They are the best in a place where much of the water in the tank reaches to flow through them, usually in a jar or trickle filter. It will not the clearest water, but control of ammonia and nitrite levels. Rinsing them in the tank water or distilled or RO / DI water kills bacteria, but it should not have to do this more than once every few years.
