The opinions on Marineland Filter Canister (100g) – is preparing to upgrade?

Hi – Currently I have a 26-gallon tank that I'm updating 90 a gallon. In my 26 gallon I have a Penguin bio-wheel filter I'm very happy. It was suggested that a larger filter bio-wheel for my new aquarium would be 90 liters as effective as Marineland filter tank. I am not familiar with this type of filter, so please give your opinion on it – good or bad. Thanks in advance.

Marineland filter housing there is really OK. can be found in a business at times. but is it? Eheim is king, but really expensive. but is it? The classic ehiem "Is still around (all I really use) as a primary filter and arguably still the best filter ever made. Purring It has been known for 10 years no problem. They also have a slow flow (notice the lower gph "s) that create a nice gentle stream bottom lines in a hurry. The key is the ability to bio-Here is the difference in a nutshell. The marine C-360 360 gph needs to clean a tank 100 gallon average range. That's part of greater flow, but for bacteria feeding is necessary. Think of the water that dropped the speed of the tank. To operate the water filter has to fly. It's $ 150 http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl3684/cp17290/si2372967/cl0/marinelandmultistagecanisterfilterc360 Eheim classic 2217 can clean an average 160 gallons tank stocked with 264 gph. It's biological capacity is just over the top and terminology that is so pervasive and effective. The flow is smooth and gently swaying leaves of plants, both real and false. Eheim The volume is 1.6 liters, 3.4 Marineland, fairly well, so it takes twice the 3.4 gallons of the media Marineland shit to do and takes 100 gallons 1.6 liters EHEIM to 160 gallons. Hmmmm might be a difference in the quality of the media. An Eheim is approximately 65-70% bio at Marineland is a tray of maybe two trays. More than ever, carbon is in a jar. What a pain. Keep the fine filter thread cans also and if you run a medium or low load of fish is going to do maybe 10 minutes maintenance every 2-3 months. It is $ 200 http://www.bigalsonline.ca/BigAlsCA/ctl3664/cp17898/si1319896/cl0/eheimfilter2217pluskit So spending $ 50 more than twice the filter? Oh, yes .. the splintered glass ehiem bio media is arguably the best medium bed bacteria on the planet for aquariums. enjoy shopping filter … is fun. Good luck and have fun!
