Why is the custom in my tank pH down?

I've been adding pH down to my tank, and goes down for a while, but then shoots back to days next. I've done this several times now. This is a new aquarium without fish in it, however, only a few snails. The right of my tap water is not high, only after its been in my tank. With the exception of Malaysian trumpet snails, I have artificial plants, wood chips, fake rocks, and regular gravel. Thanks!

There are stops in the water that makes it resist changes in pH. pH can even make your water slightly more acidic temporarily, but the dampers will be re- mounted. abrupt changes in the parameters of pH of water in particular is one of the most dangerous things that can happen to the fish. It would be much safer for the fish adapt to current pH of your water source and the most fish in the aquarium can do unless you have very specialized and delicate fish or wild caught specimens. But if it was absolutely necessary to lower the pH, a reverse osmosis unit or dose-filter with peat pellets would be more reliable and safer options. Also Aquasoil can use the planting media. Honestly, however, have a constant pH stable reading instead of trying to reach a specific number is much important in the treatment with the pH in an aquarium.
