Marine fish tank – the water to use?

Hello, I just gave a Juwel rio 125 marine tank with 4 fish inside, and 2 clown fish 2 fish damesel. I think the person who gave me the tank lost all interest in her and for a while, so this tank is very dirty! In the carriage of the tank we keep water was in it, but it is green, I can not believe that the fish survived in this kind of environment. Now I'm looking to clean the tank, but do not have much experience with marine fish since this is my first aquarium. I bought some magnetic sponges and clean the sides of the aquarium. Now my big problem is water. What should I do? I read somewhere I can not use tap water for a marine tank. but Is it okay to use something like BTL Evian water and add salt to it and gave me a box of sea salt to the tank. get a Brita water filter and use that water. that will eliminate most of the impurities. will have to mix the water with salt and check the salinity and temperature before adding. when I make my own water, I let him mix one day and then control the salinity and temperature and then add. good luck!
