Lighting help reef aquarium 50 gallon?

My tanks 48''12''de length is width of '19'' height is one of 50 gallons. What kind of lighting do I need to support a variety of corals, sps, lps, anemones and mushrooms, etc. Do you recommend pacts rated 260 watts? What is the best option available if I am not able to get metal halide. heres the link to what im plannign to buy, but never tried with power compacts before and we need your help http://cgi.ebay.com/AQUARIUM-LIGHT-48-REEF-ODYSSEA-260WT-POWER-COMPACT_W0QQitemZ260266753047QQihZ016QQcategoryZ46314QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Compact fluorescents will work, but would have more options with a VHO T-5 fixture – due to the shape of the bulb and the light output, more light is directed toward the tank (especially with individual reflectors) with covenants. metal halides are good options too, but very hot and actually put out less light per watt of a very high output T-5. Even a device like this would be better: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=16771&c=3578+13822 &
