Live Discus

"I can move my beta men to a larger tank?
I have a 20 gallon aquarium with angel fish and a fish drive, can my male beta live with these fish OK? I would not want anyone getting hurt.
Betas betas only fight other men, not all the other fish. They are actually very shy of any other fish, and tend to be teased. They do great in a community tank with fish not aggressive – sad for me is always kept in small bowls small on their own. In the pet shop that used to work at it, always kept in community tanks betas instead of the little dixie-cups that most of the shops sold out. But angels, catfish, and discussions tend to be Nippy fish – fin probably pick the beta. If it were me, I'd like to try and see, but be prepared to have the beta version back if you get a beating too. Good luck! VC
