"I can add my fish to my saltwater aquarium?

I bought a 40 gallon tank, filters, salt, sand, a heater, liverock 3 pounds, and a clownfish to go all day. I mixed the salt mixture, until it was perfect in my hydrometer. My chemicals are perfect too. However, I added my sand over an hour ago and is still cloudy. The clown fish has to adjust to water for one hour (the buoyancy of the bag). I can see half a tank to liverock, but I can not see the back yet. I have had the clown fish (in a large bag, I asked this because I live about an hour in the shop fish) held for about seven hours. Should I wait until it happens, or go ahead and add it? EDIT: Clownfish are unmarried!

You can add the fish, but you must first acclimate … not only the temperature but the water. Clowns have a habit of not liking the shock of new water and is generally not recommended for the same cycle. The water clear soon and that part of it will not hurt the fish. But the clowns usually need an established tank. You will probably have a little trouble, but it has nothing to do with the water being cloudy. To acclimate the fish to pour the water and fish in a jar. Take a small tube in your tank and start a siphon in the jar to be leaking on 3 drops a second. do this an hour and then put the fish in. allow your fish to get used to the water. Turn off all lights in your tank (this help fish) until tomorrow. The water will settle within 24 hours. you may want to add a vitamin for your fish.
