What is the name of the black fish that eat algae in an aquarium?
So I'm getting a lot of algae in my tank and want to buy one those fish they eat. Does anyone know how to call and if I can put one in a cold water aquarium with gold fish.
Plecostomus catfish: P, variety common are really great, so do not go for them to go through the nose bristles are smaller and better at eating alguea. However, they are tropical fish ….. As you can do is get a heater and put it at 20-21 degrees (celcious) the goldfish will be fine and so will the pleco. Some say that the pleco is sooo chew goldfish is not true but you have to feed them. Once a day but only 5-6 times a week on a good brand Alguea wafer can be purchased at the store Pet local .. So some days don''t feed. Feeding him not to die of hunger, but feeding him 5-6 times also motivated to find their own food. Oh yeah just a wafer to turn on the lights at night (because he is a kind of night and at night the other fish will be more Moe chill out and not likely to steal his food.) Try to locate it and put it close to him as the goldfish tend to steal!. Note that you can not live in the tank alguea alone! . Thats about it: PI have one pleco (bristle nose) with my goldfish is lovely and very happy. Be warned though goldfish can tweak it to start with just giving a little hidden spaces and soon get used to it. Again, please do not get the common grow HUGE! Ermmm what else … Oh yes, when and if you ask the biggest purchase that seems to be eating alguea because if you get the smallest one that hides tend to hide all day and not alguea eat: P Good Luck
