Is it normal for a new filter for the water all the clouds?
Emporor I just bought a 400 for my freshwater aquarium. I wonder if it is normal for water that all the clouds after installation. Marineland i use bio mix for my filter media.

If this is a new tank, is a bacterial bloom expereincing … this is a good thing, these bacteria help break down fish waste (ammonia) in less toxic products (nitrites and nitrates eventually) keep the storage tank gently until the nitrogen cycle has finished (usually around 4-6 weeks) "more water" does not contain the bacteria needed to "accelerate" the process cycle … but many shops sell fish live bacterial culture that can help, or you could use a biowheel established from another tank, or even a spent filter cartridge, or a few cups gravel. Colonies of bacteria thrive in the biowheel, media sponge, and in the substrate … not the water itself. If the cloudiness does not resolve in 24-48 hours, then I would suggest you talk to someone at the fish store and see if there is anything that has to do (maybe you've installed the media cartridge is upside down?) or something you could do to improve the clarity of its water.
