Aquarium Syphoning system like python?
Does anyone know if there are any other makes of syphoning systems for aquariums like python?
Here’s an example of a python system incase no-one has a clue what I’m talking about:

I made my own and it carried a lot more water than the Python. You can buy the gadget that attaches to your kitchen sink (I added a snap connector to it) then bought a good flexible garden hose that wouldn’t kink up. and hooked it to it. At any hardware store you can buy a female hose end that converts to CPVC. I then made several attachments out of PVC. Some were made to hang on the tank with pipe hang in the tank the depth I wanted to drain the tank. Made a cover to keep fish from getting sucked up out of a filter that most fish shops stock.
Forgot to say, I had a cut-off valve, garden hose variety, between the hose and the attachments. For my vacuum attachment, I just got the largest gravel cleaner made and slide the end of the hose over a PVC attachment.
This has unbelievable suction when turned on full blast. When done you can adjust the water temp on the kitchen faucet, snap on the hanging attachment, reverse the flow, and refill the tank in minutes. Much more user friendly and far more versatile than any of the Amazons.

I have made a lot of them for others since then, usually a little “fancier” than mine, but mine maintained hundreds of tanks for a good many years and I guess I’m attached to it. Should have patented it, I guess!
