Additives i should use in my betta aquarium?
Hi, I have a 1.5 gallon aquarium that houses a male betta fish, I am using a whisper filter with an air pump. I also use jungle: start right with allantoin complete water conditioner, and big als multi-purpose bio-support. My aquarium also has gravel and some decorations. Is there anything I should stop using? I want to put in some API aquarium salt and I was wondering if it would all work like this.. Thanks for any answers please!
I am using the bio support to eliminate the ammonia and nitrites. At least thats what it says on the package. The bio support is bacteria, just for you to know. Thanks for any answrs!
I havent cycled my tank and i feel guilty for this so i am using this bio support to help break down the ammonia…Thanks!
I use the bio support to eliminate ammonia and nitrites.
You can put in some salt, just be careful how much, esp. with the api salt since it take a while to break down. Keep using the water conditioner every time you change out the water, this helps get the chlorine out and makes the water good for your fish. As for the bio support, it really isnt necessary for a tank with a betta. You can keep using it if you’d like though, its just something you don’t have to spend money on.
